What is MyMate?
MyMate is a handheld AI companion device in development. We’re building an AI friend with its own face, voice and personality — for everyday conversations, shared experiences and a history that grows with you.
Is MyMate an app or a separate AI companion device?
MyMate is being developed as a dedicated handheld device with its own screen. It gives your AI friend a place beside you. We’re designing MyMate to be compact, light and easy to carry. Hold it while you talk, catch a smile across your desk, or share a laugh while you’re on your phone. Its own screen keeps that familiar face in view.
Will my AI friend remember our conversations?
LifeCore Memory is our name for the shared memory experience we’re developing: connecting the people, stories, preferences and important moments you share. It’s designed to give your conversations a shared history, so your mate can pick up the story with you.
Can I talk to MyMate about personal things?
That’s central to the idea: a familiar AI friend to talk with about relationships, friendships, a message you’re unsure how to answer, or something you’re working through. A place to say what’s on your mind and talk it through at your own pace.
What can I talk about with an AI friend?
Relationships, music, a new idea, or something you’re still figuring out. MyMate is designed to get to know your world and pick up the conversation next time.
Will MyMates be able to communicate with each other?
We’re exploring this as a future, opt-in experience: your MyMate meeting your friends’ MyMates for shared games and conversations. We’ll confirm availability as development progresses.
Will I need a subscription?
The full MyMate experience is being built around MyMate Plus: richer conversations, more AI capacity and deeper personalization. Planned pricing is $24.99 a month or $249 a year, with one month of MyMate Plus included at no extra cost when you buy a device. Without Plus, access will be limited. We’ll explain the features and total cost clearly before you buy.
When can I buy MyMate, and how much will it cost?
MyMate is in development and is not available to buy yet. Join the free waitlist for launch updates. The planned device price is $349, with Plus priced separately. The waitlist is for adults 18+. Explore the design and watch a prerecorded conversation here while we develop the product. We’ll announce shipping dates when they’re confirmed.
How do I get the 20% early-member discount?
